Wind Turbine Project
The ground breaking ceremony for the WCSC wind turbine was held on Friday, September, 30th and work began on the site in early October. The turbine was erected on January 13th and 14th of 2012. Around 2:00PM of the 14th, the propeller was lifted by crane and attached which completed the structure. All testing was completed by mid-March and the NIPSCO utility company has given the green light for the metering process to begin.

We Are A Four Star School
The Indiana Department of Education recently announced that West Central High School is one of only 19 Indiana high schools to receive the state's prestigious Four Star School Award.

Every athlete participating in a WCMS/WCHS sport must have a physical examination performed on or after May 1 by a Physician holding an unlimited license.

2011 WCHS Trojan Athletic Golf Outing
The 7th annual Trojan Golf Outing was held on September 24th. During the previous six years, proceeds from the outing have funded 28 scholarships to Trojan athletes. Click HERE to see pictures and read more about the event.

The West Central School Corporation is soliciting donations to the West Central Educational Foundation for this year's scholarships. Each year, an average of almost 30 seniors receive scholarships through the generosity of donations to the WC Educational Foundation.

Each year our K-12 students are asked to take a variety of formal assessments in addition to the usual tests and quizzes given at the classroom level. These assessments include those adopted locally that are used to help us make better decisions about how to meet our students’ educational needs as well as those mandated by the state of Indiana.
